Playing cards inspired by the Tarot. Arcana is a new deck of custom hand-drawn playing cards printed by USPCC.

Arcana isn't intended to be a full tarot deck. (this is a Poker deck of playing cards)

Playing cards printed through USPCC are 56 card decks (main cards plus 2 jokers, and 2 extra cards) while the tarot uses 78 cards. 

52 regular Poker cards plus 4 Major Arcana cards (replacing the two jokers and the 2 extra cards). 

The four cards the artist has chosen are to include are The Tower, The Lovers, The Fool, and Death.

Correlating the suits are as follows: Spades, Clubs, Hearts and Diamonds are paired up in this deck with Swords, Wands, Cups, and Pentacles respectively.

Dead on Paper, the Company behide the Arcarna decks takes inspiration from all over—art history, found images, Chris Ovdiyenko (the artist), own sketches and photographs. 

The artist combines all of it to create something new. Chris create's the final art by combining art from scratchboard and images he draw on his tablet. It's all hand drawn, and Chris's meticulous about making sure the final imagery works at the relatively small scale of playing cards.

Arcana's tuck cases are striking, elegent and simple. Beautifully detailed imagery and symbolism adorn the matte tuck cases that also seems to have a bit of a "Perlized" shimmer.

Subtle embossing on the front and back add to the look and feel of the decks.

The ARCANA playing cards are sold as a set of two decks. (1 x Light & 1 x Dark)
